These tools allow for deep customization of your system's appearance and printed documents.
Document Editor
Navigation: Administrator -> Document Editor
The Document Editor is a powerful visual tool for creating and modifying the layouts of printable PDF documents, such as invoices, statements, and financial reports.
How It Works
- Select Type & Layout: First, choose a document "Type" (e.g., Balance Sheet). Then, you can either select an existing "Layout" to modify or create a new one by clicking "New Save".
- Toolbar: Use the left-hand toolbar to add new elements like text boxes, lines, images, and data tables to the page canvas.
- Properties Panel: When you select an element on the page, its details appear in the right-hand Properties panel. Here you can change fonts, colors, sizes, borders, and other attributes.
- Generate PDF: Click this button to see a preview of your layout with real data. The system will prompt you for any necessary parameters, like a date range.
Image Manager
Navigation: Administrator -> Document Editor -> Image Management
Use the Image Manager to upload and delete images, such as your company logo. These images can then be placed onto your custom layouts in the Document Editor.
Font Manager
Navigation: Administrator -> Document Editor -> Font Manager
To ensure your documents match your company's branding, the Font Manager allows you to upload custom TrueType (`.ttf`) or OpenType (`.otf`) fonts. Once uploaded, these fonts will appear in the font selection dropdowns within the Document Editor.
